DESCRIPTION

The bearded god Dionysus holds a drinking cup (krater) and fruiting grapevine. Beside him stands Ariadne holding their sons--perhaps Oeinopion "Full of WIne" and Staphylus "Bunch of Grapes." They are accompnaied by the god Hermes and a Satyr holding a frond of ivy.
