DESCRIPTION
Eros (Love) chases or plays with a pet deer. The god is depicted as a plump, winged boy or perhaps as an androgynous or hermaphroditic figure combining both male and female parts. He wears his hair tied up in a bun and is adorned with a long, double-strung necklace and bracelets. The spotted deer prances in a field of blooming flowers.
