DESCRIPTION
Heracles cleans the stables of King Augeas. The hero wears a lion-skin cape and his club rests at his feet. He brandishes a rake before a bucket and tall pile of manure. This scene is part of a larger mosaic depicting the Twelve Labours of the hero.
