River Indus
INDOS was a river-god of southern Karia (Caria) in Anatolia (modern Turkey).
The River Indos empties into the Aegean Sea near the town of Kaunos (Caunus) on the Karian coast opposite the island of Rhodes. The most important neighbouring rivers were the Maiandros (Meander) to the north and the Lykian Xanthos to the south-east.
