PHYLLIS

PHYLLIS was a river-god of Bithynia in Anatolia (modern Turkey).

The Phyllis River was a stream of the Thynian peninsular on the Black Sea coast half way between the Bosporos Straits and the Sangarios River. The most important adjacent rivers were the Askanios (Ascanius) to the south and Saggarios (Sangarius) to the east.
