TERMESSOS was a river-god of Boiotia (Boeotia) in central Greece.
The Termessos or Permessos stream had its headwaters on Mount Helikon in Boiotia. It flowed north past the town of Askra to empty into Lake Kopais (Copais). The most important neighbouring rivers were the Kephisos (Cephisus) to the north-west, the Lamos to the south, Ismenos to the south-east, and Pleistos to the west.
